Kellie Cazier
Facilitator
Kellie is a nature lover who inspires others to love the great outdoors! She grew up in the Sonoran Desert and spent most of her childhood exploring Saguaro National Park in her backyard. Her favorite thing was looking at the night sky and marveling at the Milky Way Galaxy. She also loved camping with her family, which always made her feel grounded and peaceful. Kellie has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Humanities. She has worked professionally with kids for over five years and loves it! Some of those settings were in a Waldorf preschool and working with her own children as a homeschooling parent. Ms. Kellie even started an outdoor playgroup for mothers and preschool-aged children in her community, and it's been an enormous success. In Ms. Kellie's free time, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, longboarding, creating art, reading about nature, and observing wildlife. She's always up for trying new things and loves exploring state parks and natural areas with her husband and two young children.
Jermaine Francis
Facilitator
Jermaine is from South Florida but was born and spent his childhood in Jamaica. His passion for nature and people was cultivated by his Jamaican roots. There is a motto "out of many, one people." Hiking, swimming, and sharing fresh fruits and vegetables with the community were a part of life. He shares this passion with his wife and three children: two sons and a daughter. At home, his family enjoys gardening, going on adventures, and learning about human's relationship with nature as he learned in Jamaica. He joined the United States Marine Corps from high school, where he traveled the world and experienced many different cultures. Jermaine earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice and sociology from UMHB in Belton, TX, and has a passion for motivating at-risk youths to make positive changes in their life by not accepting temporary obstacles as permanent rejections.
